Instructions

Our reheat instructions are based on a standard home oven, stove and microwave. Cooking times may vary depending on your equipment. We recommend using the instructions as a guide and check the internal temperature before serving. The best way to do this is to use a probe. The internal temperature must be above 75C. If you do not have a probe, insert a knife into the centre of the product and ensure it is piping hot. You will get the best result if you defrost the meal prior to reheating. The safest way to do this is to defrost your meal in its sealed tray or pouch in the fridge for 12 to 24 hours.

Cooking Time:

5 to 15 minutes


Taco Proteins

Pulled Lamb, Pulled Pork, Roasted Sweet Potato Reheating in Hot Water: 

1. For optimum results, place all the vacuum pouches into a suitable sized pot of hot water once simmering. 

2. If defrosted, simmer for 5 - 8 minutes.  

3. If frozen, simmer for 10 - 15 minutes.  

4. Carefully remove pouch from boiling water as it will be hot. 

5. Serve and enjoy! 

 

Chili and Coriander Chutney and Tomatillo Salsa, Pickled Jalapenos, Pickled Turnips and Tacos  

1. Defrost vacuum pouches overnight.  

 

Assembly  

1. Place each protein into a suitable sized bowl and place on your dining table. 

2. Place your soft tacos on to a plate and put on your table. 

3. Place salsa and other condiments into small bowls and place on the table. 

4. Serve and enjoy!

Chef Recommendations

To enhance your experience further, the chef suggests adding the following before serving: Add finely picked coriander on top of your taco or add some finely sliced red cabbage to bulk out and add some crunch!
