Best known for his role as Judge on Masterchef Australia, Gary’s early years in the UK, working in Michelin-starred establishments, laid the foundation for his illustrious career, which eventually led him to Australia where he established himself as a renowned chef and restaurateur. 

Gary has been a fixture on our screens since his debut as a co-host on Good Chef Bad Chef in 2007. In addition to his television success, Gary has made significant contributions to culinary exploration in India, hosting award-winning series like Masters of Taste and Mega Festivals India for National Geographic and Fox Life India.  With five cookbooks under his belt and a background steeped in culinary excellence, Gary's career has been a journey marked by success, fueled by his values of honesty, enthusiasm, and compassion. 

In the exciting relaunch of the NEW Providoor in 2023, Gary Mehigan was one of the founding Chefs and brought his culinary expertise on board, enriching the team. Providoor's menu flourished with dishes inspired by Gary's refined palate, elevating the dining experience with a blend of sophistication and innovation that reflects his culinary mastery, and love of travel.
